Yes. When registering online, simply indicate the preferred roommate in the appropriate space provided and we will do our very best to accommodate everyone, but please understand that we cannot 100% guarantee it.

Requests must be made by both campers at the time of registration. No last minute additions/changes can be honored. There will be no changing of rooms during check in unless "no shows" are involved.

There is a sibling discount of $25 for those families who qualify with two or more immediate family participants. (Cousins do not qualify)

The first participant pays full price and all other siblings receive the $25 discount. We do verify and you must qualify to take advantage of this discount. Special discounts are listed on the home page when available. Discounts do not apply to weekend camps. Please email for discount code.

Does the camp have insurance and medical staff?

Excess Accident Medical Insurance coverage for the camp is provided through your USA Swimming membership. Parent's insurance is the primary carrier with USA Swimming's Excess Accident Medical policy as the secondary.

 Medicine & Medical Personnel

We will have a certified Athletic Trainer on call during the camp. If your camper is on medicine please contact us before camp starts so we are aware.

Controlled substances will be maintained by staff and dispensed as indicated. You must provide a medical release for administering of drugs. (Form is provided in your packet) In the event of an injury during camp, the parent would file first with their primary carrier and any remaining bills or receipts would be filed for reimbursement through USA Swimming's policy. If there is no primary coverage, USA Swimming's policy will pay subject to a $150 deductible (subject to change). Medical forms (included in the registration packet) must be completed by the participant's family physician and received in our office no later than April 1st.

Will my child be supervised at all times?

Yes. Each camper will be in a group with a counselor who is accountable for them at all times.

There is some free time during the day, but campers are only allowed in the dorm or directly outside of the dorm where there is a counselor present.

Will my child have a telephone in their room?

No. There are two phones in the lobby of the dorm that are available each night.

Calls must be made collect or with a calling card. Cell phones are permitted, but must stay in the dorm at all times. Cell phones CANNOT be taken to the pool or to the classroom presentations. Campers who are using phones during instructional times will lose points for their team.

What is the ratio of campers to coaches/counselors?

We pride ourselves on the low ratio of campers to counselors. We feel that individual attention is a necessity and is vital for a positive experience.

This also facilitates an interactive teaching environment with a lot of feedback given to each camper. The ratio is approximately 10 swimmers to 1 staff member.

 Do you video tape? (DARTFISH)

Yes. Swimmers can order underwater stroke analysis CD using Dartfish software comparing your child with a varsity AU swimmer for a $100 cost.

This is an underwater comparison of your son or daughter to a current/former Auburn Varsity swimmer. Members of the Auburn University Men's and Women's Swimming Team Coaching Staff provide the commentary of the critical components of the stroke, what to look for in your own stroke and what a swimmer should be doing to execute the stroke appropriately. All four strokes are compared and analyzed. At the end of camp you will receive an email link that will show their underwater video playing at the same time as the underwater video of the University swimmer. There will be key positions and audio commentary for each stroke. This is available for purchase during registration or at the pool upon check-in. (Check or Cash Only)
